Creating wonderful memories, discovering new experiences and exploring the world around us!
At Little Monkeys, we believe learning goes far beyond our nursery rooms and garden. We love giving children opportunities to try new things, celebrate special occasions and become involved in our local community.
Throughout the year, we enjoy special themed days, such as Gruffalo Day to celebrate the new Gruffalo Granny story, taking part in local events like the Christmas Tree Festival and raising money for charities such as BBC Children in Need.
We also believe the simplest experiences can create wonderful learning opportunities! Whether it's visiting the local shops, hunting for conkers on an autumn walk, exploring the park or discovering our local surroundings, these little adventures encourage curiosity, confidence and a love of learning.
We enjoy welcoming visitors into nursery, such as the fire service, and inviting parents and members of our community to share their jobs, cultures, traditions and experiences with us. These opportunities help children learn about different people, places and the world around them.
Every experience, big or small, helps build children's cultural capital – the knowledge, skills and experiences that support their learning and development. We aim to broaden children's experiences, celebrate diversity and encourage them to become confident, curious and caring individuals.
Our aim is simple – to give every Little Monkey exciting opportunities, new experiences and wonderful memories as they explore the world around them!
