Little Monkeys Charlbury is open for approximately 51 weeks of the year, providing year-round childcare for our families. We also offer a term-time only contract for those who prefer childcare during school terms.  Our term dates follow those of Charlbury Primary School, helping families plan their childcare around the local school calendar.  Please note that should Charlbury Primary School make any changes to its term dates or holidays, we reserve the right to adjust our term-time dates accordingly. Parents will be informed of any changes as soon as possible.

Every child's safety, happiness and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do at Little Monkeys Charlbury.

We are committed to providing a safe, caring and nurturing environment where every child feels protected, valued and listened to. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility, and we work closely with our children, families and safeguarding professionals to ensure their welfare remains our highest priority.  We encourage all parents and carers to speak up if they have any concerns, however small they may seem. Whether you have noticed a change in a child's behaviour, an unexplained injury or something that simply doesn't feel right, we are always here to listen.  Concerns can be shared with your child's key person, any member of our team or directly with one of our Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs). You can also raise concerns in writing if you prefer.

All concerns are taken seriously, recorded appropriately and handled sensitively, with information shared only with those who need to know to help keep children safe. Where necessary, we work with relevant safeguarding professionals and agencies.

If a child is in immediate danger, always call 999.

If you are worried about a child's safety or wellbeing, you can also contact Oxfordshire's children's safeguarding services directly. Every family needs a little extra support sometimes, and it's always okay to ask for help.

At Little Monkeys Charlbury, we understand that family life can sometimes bring challenges, and we believe no family should feel they have to face them alone.  Early Help is about providing children and families with the right support at the right time, helping to address worries or difficulties before they become bigger concerns.  We work closely with parents, carers and other professionals to listen, offer guidance and help families access the support they may need. Whether you're finding things a little difficult, have concerns about your child's development or simply need someone to talk to, we are always here to listen and help.

Remember, asking for help is a positive first step, and you don't have to manage everything on your own.
